Alexandra Maria Lara, a Romanian and German actress working in film and TV is best known for films such as Rush as well as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Alexandra Maria Lara was the sole child of Romanian film actor Valentin Platareanu. At the age of 16, Alexandra played the leading role in several dramas on television.
