Aisling Bea

Aisling Bea is one of the most popular and richest Comedian that was born 16 March 1984 in Kildare Ireland. She appeared on QI along with Stephen Fry. Aisling O'Sullivan, more popularly than the stage name Aisling Bea (born March 16, 1984), is an Irish writer, actress and stand-up comic. After appearing in bit parts on a number of Irish and British television shows since 2009 Bea started her career as a stand-up comedian in 2011. In 2012, she began performing in sketch comedy shows as well as sitcoms and similar shows. Following her win at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards she began being booked frequently for various panel shows where she is now a regular. Between 2016 and 2017, she served as a captain for 8 Out of 10 Cats as well as a frequent participant on the spinoff 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. She is the daughter of Brian O'Sullivan and Helen O'Sullivan. Sinead, her sister, was also born. The only ever female to be a winner of the show So You Think You're Funny. Bea was given to her to honor her father. Aisling Cliodhnadh'Sullivan' was born in Kildare town County Kildare on 16 March 1984. Her father Brian was a veterinarian for horses who committed suicide at three-years-old. However, she didn't discover the reason of her death until 13 years later. In 2017 she composed an essay for The Guardian about the suicide of her father's relatives and took on the stage name Bea in remembrance of him. Bea (and her sister Sinead) were brought up within the home of Helen Moloney who was a educator and jockey trainer who was also a professional jockey. Her family were in love with racing and horses. Bea started out her career as a tour-guide for the Irish National Stud. However Bea realized at an early age that the race industry wasn't the right fit for her.
